Safeguarding Policy
At Armathwaite Old School Hall, the safety and wellbeing of everyone who uses our space is a top priority. We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all members of the community, especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
All regular hirers and activity leaders are expected to follow appropriate safeguarding procedures and have policies in place where applicable. We ask that any groups working with children or vulnerable adults provide evidence of their safeguarding policy and relevant DBS checks.
Our committee members are volunteers, and while we do not provide direct services ourselves, we are committed to responding appropriately to any concerns brought to our attention. If you have a safeguarding concern relating to the hall or any of its activities, please contact us immediately at ArmathwaiteOSH@hotmail.com.
We review our safeguarding practices regularly to ensure we meet current guidance and uphold a safe space for everyone.
