The Hoo are an electro-acoustic duo from Eastriggs in Dumfries & Galloway, delivering crowd-pleasing covers with energy, polish and a modern edge. Made up of Ian Borrowdale (guitar, vocals, electronic drums) and Ian Thompson (bass, vocals), the pair bring big sound and tight grooves to every performance.

Blending contemporary acoustic favourites with reworked classics, The Hoo move effortlessly from Mumford & Sons, Avicii, George Ezra, Gerry Cinnamon and Paolo Nutini to iconic tracks by The Rolling Stones, The Killers, Tom Petty, REM, Queen and The Mavericks. Their adaptable electro-acoustic setup allows them to create a full, dynamic sound that works just as well in intimate venues as it does on bigger stages.
